Job Description Applications are invited for a Research Associate position, funded through the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, to work with Dr. Koji Mukai at NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) on the studies of accreting and/or nuclear-buring white dwarfs. The successful applicant will participate in the analysis and the interpretation of XMM-Newton observations that are already taken or approved, along with related projects of the applicant's choosing. We seek candidates who will be able to analyze XMM-Newton, Chandra and other X-ray satellite data, and have a background in cataclysmic variables, symbiotic stars or related objects.
