2. PURPOSEThe primary purpose of the JCA shall be to serve as a center of excellence for multi-disciplinary research in the broad area of Astrophysics directed toward understanding the origin and evolution of the Universe. It shall also serve as a means to increase the effectiveness of research and teaching through close collaboration, and serve as a means to train personnel for research in relevant areas. |
