Suitably-qualified graduates can specialize in
one of
several
areas of astronomy or astrophysics
under the Applied
Physics Ph.D. Program at UMBC.
The students are advised by a member of the
Regular
Physics Faculty, the
CRESST
Reseach Faculty,
other
JCA Research Faculty,
and/or other PhD astronomers working
at the
NASA
Goddard
Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD.
