Access to the UMBC Telescope can only be obtained
via to steep metal ladders.
Small children, people with mobility problems, and people afraid of
heights may not wish to visit the dome.
Such vistors are of course still very welcome, and can simply wait in the
main auditorium for the subsequent astronomical presentation
and/or discussion led by members of the UMBC Faculty/staff.
It is strongly recomended that vistors to the dome wear study shoes
(eg. walking/jogging etc).
